About Daniel

Daniel is a pastor and evangelist at The Church at Chapelhill in Douglasville, Georgia. He has traveled the world preaching the gospel and touching lives through his dramatic testimony, innovative preaching and the signs that follow. He is a sought after speaker at conferences and events across the nation and currently serves as a Chaplain for the Atlanta Falcons. Daniel has been featured on TBN, CBN, NBC, and ABC Family networks. Daniel and his wife Heather have two children, Zion and Gracelyn.

After being introduced to drugs and alcohol at a young age, Daniel Gray spent many years addicted to a life filled with drugs, alcohol, guns, violence and crime. One morning, after hours of partying, Daniel lost consciousness behind the wheel and flipped his car several times. When paramedics arrived, Daniel wasn’t breathing. He had no pulse. He was dead. He was rushed into an ambulance where he was miraculously revived. However, this near-death experience wasn’t enough for Daniel to change his lifestyle. He fell right back in. Six months later, Daniel witnessed one of his closest friends end his own life with a gunshot to the head. It was in this moment, the darkest point of his life, when Daniel had an encounter with God that would change his life forever.

To be an effective leader, you have to be bold enough to get out of the box. This means getting past all of your past experiences and ideas. As a leader, you must step back from time to time and realize how big the world really is. It is way bigger than the three churches you’ve attended. It is way bigger than the five companies you’ve worked for or owned. Your box is not the world.
